Yes, the application will work on Windows 7 although on the website is says it's compatible only with Windows NT(2000,XP,2003). I've downloaded the package on Windows 10 64bit and installed it and works just fine. I've even calculated the CRC sum for some sample files.
Note: When installing, make sure to run it as Administrator (right click on setup package and select Run as Administrator).
