How do I tell if the DLL is 32bit or 64bit?

Just right click on 'my computer/computer' icon and then click on properties, you will find basic info about your computer

It is very easy to check if a DLL file is 32bit or 64bit. You will only need Notepad++. Download it using the following link: https://notepad-plus-plus.org/

  • x86: PE L
  • x64: PE d†

Open Notepad++ and load the DLL file, then press CTRL + F and type: PE. As you see in the image below, the file I loaded is 64bit. For a 32bit file you will see an L instead d†.
