Have tried to run compatibility settings 3 times but they don't work. Does this program work on earlier Windows OS, maybe XP? If I need an update, please advise.
The software doesn't even appear to be available anymore. I have checked various websites and found out that it is actually discontinued. It's impossible to obtain an update package for an application that doesn't have a web page or a developer to maintain it.
As an alternative, try Noteflight without installing anything then you can move to other applications: https://www.noteflight.com/
