The new BBB format is protected with a PIN and a code generated based on the Machine. I have checked the support forums and the users said that you can use any application similar to MagicBerry and the result will be the same. It works for older versions because this security wasn't implemented.
There is also the cause that MagicBerry needs and update to support newer security added to files, but it will be impossible since the official website is discontinued and domain expired.
