I've installed DEMO version from the developer's website and launched its installation on Windows 10 x64 and it simply works. There is no need for additional customization, compatibility tweaks or something related.
If you have issues with your application, try reinstalling it again because that will fix it. Additionally, if you prefer, launch the installation as Administrator. Sometimes this little solution can fix various problems with the application.
