Wondering what to buy

What are the feature differences between version #7 and version #4? Also, what support equipment, brand and model do you recommend to get the most out of that product? I am interested in using vocal mic to convert to MIDI and, for now, multi-track on "Garage Band" for composing and arranging. I'm on a Mac with OSX 10.10.5.

I have checked the website, but I couldn't find the differences between version 4 and 7. The latest one is listed on the website, but there isn't anything about the version 4.

However, for your inquiry, I would recommend the digital forum set up for users. You can post there and the developers should answer the question about versions and the equipment you need for your business.
