Can't get the GPS-AIS signal from True Heading CTRX via a Profilic ser-USB cable into Seaclear, while working under Windows 10. It does not recognize the COM port, whereas a GPS-mouse at that port is recognized. The True Heading Company has no idea for a solution. Uploading updates of the PL2303 driver did not help.

The information on the official website doesn't provide any details about the Windows 10. So, it's not supported. However, I have seen on the official website that there is a link which points to Microsoft Support and it's related to this error.

Support page: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/819036

Use the tool to disable the COM port as instructed by Microsoft.
