I've tried each decision at a forum and none of them worked. I have absolutely good PowerPoint 2007 on my laptop which opens in 2007. When I move files through a flash card to my computer of a table with PowerPoint 2010, it then always wants to restore files and makes them unreadale. It breaks graphics, divides one, decrease into two, etc. There is nothing incorrect with the original file. It is simple that PowerPoint 2010 should read it.

Firstly, you have to check if there are multiple versions of PowerPoint installed. You can do this from Control Panel > Programs and Features > Uninstall a program. If there are more than one version, remove the oldest one and reboot the computer, then you will be able to open the files normally.

Secondly, repair the PowerPoint 2010 installation using the same instructions. I believe the software is corrupted because of another program's installation.
