When I am typing replies to my Hotmail emails the software does not keep up with normal typing speed so that letters are constantly missing. What is to be done regarding this matter?

With the advent of auto correction options in the email programmes, this is a very serious issue, since the characters never appear when I am also typing. This is not only with Hotmail, but also with Yahoo (a lots in it), Aol at times & mail.com as well. However, if you stop the auto correction feature on your mail settings, it will go away, & then at the end of writing, you can do a spell check.

Your application might use an auto correction software, so when you type, the text is constantly checked for grammar and spelling errors and that is why you encounter the delay. This could be one of the reasons. Another one might be due to the fact that there is a serious error with the keyboard itself and it needs replacing.
