How come I'm still getting a "delivered" message if I am blocked on Viber?

I am puzzled by the following on Viber and would be grateful if anyone could answer: I believe I am blocked by a contact because every time I call person on Viber it shows up "calling" not "ringing", however when I send a message I always get a "delivered" notification. This contact has online status turned off as not showing on any phone so can't tell by that. What is puzzling me is how I am still getting a "delivered" message if I am blocked, which I am quite sure I am?

The Delivered status means that the message was delivered to the receiver, but it doesn't indicate it was actually opened. You can send as many messages as you want to the receiver and even if you're blocked, you'll still have the Delivered message.

For more information, access the Viber's response to the message status: https://support.viber.com/customer/portal/articles/1534869-message-delivery-status-#.VWRF5U-qovE

TO clarify the above answer, if you are blocked, then you will not see a delivered status. If you have a delivered status, then you are not blocked. The seen status depends on the privacy settings. Any user can display or block the "seen" status in the privacy settings.

Agreed with anonymous. I have experienced this. If you are blocked when you send message your message status will not indicate a "delivered" status.

If you think you have been blocked then go to contacts, delete the number of the person who blocked you, then put it back in, then go into viber go to contacts if that person profile picture shows up your not blocked, if its blank then you have been,
