Can the Nero MediaHome Receiver Android app work with Mediahome 4 Essential server?

Yes, the application will work with MediaHome 4 Essentials Server. The MediaHome application can broadcast content to almost any device you have in your house. Here is the proof from the Play Store:

"- Play any media file or playlist from Nero MediaHome via ‘Play to’ on your Android ® tablet or smartphone"
