To avoid any breaks while you record with the application, make sure that there are no other applications running in the background that can affect the functionality of the software. I have encountered the same error, and the way I fixed it was the one mentioned here. Another solution is to apply more power to the process. Press CTRL + Shift + ESC, then locate the process in the Processes list. Right click it and change its Affinity and Priority.
