What are the quantified units in the "signal" and "total" detected for a given shape?

What are the quantified units in the "signal" and "total" detected for a given shape? Are these units pixels? What should I put in the legend of a graph where I compare different "signals" or "totals" corresponding to different shapes placed in different bands of a western blot? I know it detects chemiluminescence signal, but what are the units exactly?

I have installed the application and although I have found the Signal and Total values in the Chart panel, there is no information about the units used. The units are not related to pixels Since 6500 displayed for a image I've opened is not in pixels. After additional study, the numbers are based on the colors and their temperature. The total and signal can be renamed to whatever you have based on the data from Chart > Label.
