Why does my Interest Vision work on windows 7 and not on my Surface Pro with Windows 8?

This is a very old application that barely has support for Windows 7. There is also the possibility you have the Surface Pro version equipped with Windows 8 RT. This version is not supported by the software. However, I have read on various forums that the software is not compatible with Windows 8 and there is no possible way to install it due to compatibility.

I have the same software that runs on Windows 7 32 bit os but not on Windows 7 64 bit os. Most of these old programs will not run on 64 bit os.

Does the program not run or is it the installer? I've used this application on Win 7 (32 & 64) and even on Win 10 (64 bit). Just copy Interest Vision program directory from another computer and save it to other, then run iv3.exe
