Why can t i add a friend on snapchat?

Guys easiest way to find them again is to have someone that has them as a friend send you their profile on snap ! thank me lateeerrz Aligateeerrzz

... you go to find friends and I turned on ... had a snapchat. Second when I clicked on the Add button it ... I typed in their Snapchat name and somehow it came ... to my contacts on snapchat they were then listed ...
