To disable Cooee without root: Hook it up ... computer and search for the cooee folder. Replace EVERY FILE with ...

Leonard Moore, many thanks! I have effectively told my security app to accept Cooee as a legitimate app. In other words, it probably is a false positive. No problem since then.
In order to uninstall the Cooee Launcher you will need to do a factory reset of your phone. There is no other way to remove this application. By doing this, you will lose all the data from the device.
