Why wont my dell laptop webcam work?

There must be cyber link media suite included with if you format your windows and again installed another windows, try re-installing cyber link media suite.

The problem is that Microsoft installs its own driver for the camera, you need to install the Creative driver for the camera... bingo!

I have the same problem with my integrated webcam. After rebooting it does not work. I am using dell inspiron n5050. Just irritating.

Same here with DELL inspiron 1564. Looks like the program is not supported for these versions of DELL laptops. Note the webcam is working probably with Skype but it is not supported here at all!  

That's very odd because mine and other people's webcam central works. Maybe you didn't download it right. Or maybe you saved it in a folder or in the wrong folder...

the only obvious solution is to revert back to windows xp....windows blinds looks alot better than windows vista or 7 and xp is compatible with just about everything....
