Daily forecast - when does the night begin and end?

On my desktop my icon is orange where it shows the temp., when you pull up the map there are no warnings. What is going on? It's been this way for 2 days now.

I have just found out that Weather Channel is back on Direct. I usually hit a red button on my control and my local forecast comes up. I have tried all day and I can't get it.

We live in central Florida. The reports from this application will say West winds, but they are heading east. I thought West wind means it's coming from the west not heading west.

I would like to say that I love the Weather Channel program, but I'm not satisfied with the radar maps that appear when a severe weather is coming in a area.

I have The Weather Channel shortcut on my desktop because I want to be able to open it occasionally. I want the local temperature to appear in my system tray.
