I have an iPhone with iOS 10. I would like to remove the recent cities from TWC app. How can I do this?

I have successfully downloaded from the Microsoft Store and installed the Windows 10 version of The Weather Channel Desktop Program on my Windows 10 PC, and it runs fine.

I downloaded the app but, every time I try to open it an error occurs saying I have no Internet connection and to try again later. I am connected to the Internet.
