MonitorClient is an old version of the application that isn't compatible with Windows 8, however, the company developed another client called CamTrace. Visit the official website then scroll down and click on the link listed under the Client Window. The link will lead you to a FTP page from where you can download the new client. It works in Windows 8 as well, only that you need to run it as Administrator and install the additional components when required.
