There are multiple causes that can make this application stop working properly (a corrupted or a missing file, a failed update, etc.). Therefore, I recommend you to reinstall it. First, go to Control Panel > Uninstall​ a program > search there Smart Type Assistant > right click on it > and press uninstall. Next, download the setup files again through Software Informer application's page. After the downloading is completed, open the setup file and start the installation process.
