Forgot screen lock password on ZTE Savvy.

Question

I forgot the password for the screen lock. It doesn't allow me to reset using Google (no option pops up ). Are there any key numbers to put in so I can change the password with out wiping my phone? I know there is a free software that can show the password, remove, and or change the password but I have no clue where to find it.

There is no number or key combination to unlock the phone except using Hard Reset mode that's triggered with the help of the functional buttons. Turn off the phone and then press Volume Up + Power button. Once you are in the recovery mode, select Wipe data/Factory Reset and then reboot the phone. You should have access to the phone's interface, unfortunately all the applications will be deleted as well as custom settings.
