Configuring a SATA hard drive to master.

I am trying to use this unlock wizard to access / format a drive with an unknown HDD password. However, the program tells me that it is locked and must be connected as Master instead of Slave. This is confusing as the drive is SATA and I did not think this is an issue. Is there a way to set the SATA hard drive to Master?

There is no master or slave when it comes to SATA hard drives, however, the computer recognizes a SATA hard drive as Master, when this is the first boot option. To change the booting order for your hard drives, reboot the computer and press DEL button when the Setup message is displayed (for most computers is the DEL button, but this can differ between manufacturers). After you entered the BIOS setup screen, look for BOOT option.
