If I text someone on Snapchat and they have not updated their Snapchat application yet, will they still know that I texted them?
Even if your friend is using an older version of Snapchat, he/she will still be able to receive your message. However, it is possible that they will not receive some new features that are available only on newer versions like new snaps or pictures.
