Unable to create a new folder in Windows 8 file explorer. Can you help?

When I go into My Documents and try to create a New Folder, the explorer window says it's not responding. What do I do to troubleshoot this issue?

This is a bug in Windows 8 which will later be fixed. The same problem applied to Windows 7 or Vista. The most easiest way to make your computer work normall is to disable Windows Search.

Go to Start > Run > services.msc. Locate Windows Search in the list and right click it then Properties. Stop it then select DISABLED from the drop down menu and that's it. Reboot the computer and it will work.
