Contacts in DOC file.

Years ago, I imported my CSV file in Outlook and then I had to change my Windows. I uploaded those Outlook files to Gmail Drive. Now I need those contacts, but they are in Microsoft Office Word 97 - 2003 Document (.doc) format and when I try to open it with Word, "Text Encoding" shows up and it isn't showing name, address etc., just shows some coding. I want it to be in either CSV or VCF format. How can I overcome this?

Even if the file was created with an older Office Word version, you should be able to open it with your moder Word program. To do this, open Word and go to File > Open > from the drop down menu of file formats choose Microsoft Office Word 97 - 2003 Document, select your document and press open. If you encounter the same behavior, try to open the file using Outlook. To do this, open the program, File > Import and Export > Import file from another program > Tap separated values. After you opened the file, you can easily save it to whatever file format that you want.
