This problem could be caused by the lack of necessary codecs available on your computer or the codec used to play the files. First check the Audio functionality in your computer by going to the Device Manager (Start > Run> devmgmt.msc). If everything works just fine, then go to the application's page at Software Informer and download the Combined Community Codec Pack. Install the package, reboot the computer and choose another audio codec for your slideshow.
