I downloaded the free trial of InPaint and they want me to purchase it.

I just want the free version. How can I do that?

You can get a download link for a trial version of this software by visiting Software Informer's application page or by visiting the following official web page. However, you can't use this software if the trial period is over, even if you uninstall and then install it again. In this case you got to purchase it.
