Almost all programs can run on Windows 7 even though it was created for an older version. Right click on the program and run "Troubleshoot Compatibility". After that, select "Troubleshoot Program" and choose the first option named "The program worked in earlier version but won't install or run now" and click "next". It will appear a list with previous Windows versions that was compatible with the program and you choose the one that it was. After that click "Start the program" and installer will start.
You can also right click on the program, open "Proprieties" and select "Compatibility". Check the "Run in compatibility mode" box and select an earlier Windows version, click "OK" and install the program.
