I bought the program and want to record some of my Spotify songs since I want to use them in my slideshows. But when I record from Spotify there is a strange background noise. Is there a way to avoid it? Does not happen otherwise.

According to the developer, this program should be used together with GeatdyAudioDevice program. You can obtain a download link for the mentioned application from Mac Informer's application page. If your problem isn't solved by this, try to check if you made the appropriate settings for the recording process. Also, it is not advised to record a song from your external speakers. This might be the reason for the background noise. In this matter, you should always use an internal source for your recordings.

I think it is better for you to use a Spotify music downloader to locally download songs from Spotify for offline use in your slideshows. Such a tool supports batch conversion , which can save your time. And with it, you can download any content from Spotify without premium, so that you can use Spotify songs anywhere without limits.

My suggestion is to use a Spotify to MP3 converter instead of a recorder. The converter will bring you better quality for Spotify songs. You just need to copy the link to your song or playlists.

Oh, it is a really old thread. In my opinion, to convert Spotify music to MP3 might be better than to record Spotify to MP3. The conversion processes the original data directly and it will not cause any loss of the music quality. I use AudKit Spotify MP3 Converter to download Spotify songs. And then add them to slideshows as BGM.
