I recently switched to Metro PCS from T-mobile and I have a bunch of T-Mobile apps that I don't need. I'm not concerned with voiding the warranty I just need to know how to root it. Please help me! My phone keeps telling me to move apps to my Metro PCS SD card but it won't allow me to move them.

You should identify your device first, but rooting will void your warranty. You can find details about your device in Menu > Settings > About Device. Then you can use that information on XDA Forums to look for rooting methods. Remember to perform backups at all times.
