How to delete imported contacts (ZTE Savvy)?

How do I delete imported contacts? It seems inconceivable that there isn't just a 'delete' option.

This is an Android phone. Navigate to Contacts and keep the finger tapped on a contact. A menu with different options will appear. Tap on Delete to delete the contact.
