What is a difference between Optional client and Professional client in Primavera?

Optional Client connects to an EPPM database schema while Professional Client works with a P6 Professional database. If you try to connect with Optional Client to a Professional database, you will receive an error regarding incompatibility of databases. The same process applies if you reverse the operation.
