My Money Counts 9.0 running in Windows XP developed a problem. I tried to reinstall from 2 different CDs and it wouldn't do anything. I installed it on an old computer running Windows Millenium. It installed properly, I copied it to a thumb drive and ran it from the thumb drive on that computer. It ran fine. I copied it to the XP computer and it does nothing. I tried running it from the thumb drive on the XP computer and it just sits there. I tried running in Millenium compatibility mode - still nothing. I don't understand. I've been running it on that computer with XP for years. Any ideas?

There could be multiple causes to this error, but the most common ones are related to the Windows functionality. Even if the software is able to run on the computer and Windows has problems, you will still get error. Try to install CCleaner and then click on the Registry. Scan the registry and delete the obsolete registry entries. After this procedure, reboot the computer and install it again and it should work.
