If you want to record the newsletter from an external source, connect the microphone in the red/pink jack of your computer, right-click on the sound icon from System Tray and select Recording devices. Right-click anywhere in the Recording tab, check the Show Disabled Devices option, double click the microphone and select Use this device (Enable) as Device usage. Click OK, select it again and press the Set Default button next to Properties. After that, go to Start, type Sound Recorder and open the utility. When you're ready to start the recording, click the red icon and after your finish press Stop Recording. Select a destination directory and enter a file name using the Save As pop-up window and click the Save button.
After that, download and install a burning utility from Software Informer database, launch it, add the recorded file and burn it to a disc.
Note: If you want to record the newsletter using your computer as a source, you need to select the computer's speaker/stereo mix instead of microphone from the Recording tab.
