I use Easy File Locker to hide some of my files, but after reinstalling Windows, my password seems to be corrupted. I receive only an "Invalid password" message whenever I try to insert the code that worked fine before. I'm using a Windows 7 computer. How can I get my files back?

In order to recover your files, you need to start your PC in Safe Mode. To do this, reboot the computer, press and hold the F8 key and use the arrow buttons to highlight the safe mode option from the Advanced Boot Options screen. Press Enter and then log on using an Administrator account. After that, all the protected files will be visible and accessible. If you have issues, use admin@xoslab.com email address to get in touch with the support team.

Just delete USER.DAT file inside C:\USERS\PUBLIC\DOCUMENTS\EFL and install EFL again. Won't ask you for a password when you open it or uninstall it.
