Editing the shapes in IrfanView.

How can I edit the shapes so that they become oval and round instead of square or rectangular?

Unfortunately, you can't change the format of a shape from rectangular to oval/round. If you want, you can add new shapes using the Paint tool. Press the F12 key to open the tool and click the ellipse icon to draw a new shape. You can configure the shape format using the tools below enter image description here.
