Does anyone know if there is a version of VLC that runs on Palm OS 5?

No, there isn't any version of VLC Media Player that can run on Palm OS 5. The software can run only on Windows, Mac OS X, Debian GNU/Linux, Ubuntu, Mint, openSUSE, Gentoo Linux, Fedora, Arch Linux, Slackware Linux, Mandriva Linux, ALT Linux, Red Hat Enterprise Linux, FreeBSD, NetBSD, OpenBSD, Solaris, Android, iOS, QNX, Syllable and OS/2 platforms. Contact the developer for further information. Also, in order to play videos on your Palm OS 5 device, I suggest you download and install Kinoma Player.
