I have a Motorola V600 and recently I purchased Motorola Phone Tools. I updated it from 5.10a to 5.13b and it doesn't recognize my phone. I have Windows XP SP3. What can I do?

Unfortunately, Motorola V600 is an old device that is no longer compatible with Motorola Phone Tools. You can check the list of all incompatible devices on the official web page. Click the Supported Phones button and then Please click here for a list of phones no longer supported in Motorola Phone Tools. However, you can still connect the phone to your computer using a Motorola USB cable. Once it is connected, go to My Computer / Computer > Motorola drive to transfer files.

If the phone is not recognized by your computer, go to Start > Control Panel > Hardware and Sound > Device Manager, expand the Universal Serial Bus controllers list, right-click on the driver and select Uninstall. After that, reboot your computer, connect the phone and press Scan for hardware changes icon from Device Manager.
