After removing viruses, Trojans, spywares and other malwares (including CCleaner) from my computer, Photoshop is not opening correctly. I also downloaded the latest updates from Microsoft including something called Pack#3, but it is not working. I'm sure that something removed a part from Photoshop. I don't want to perform a system restore. Can I just remove the application and then reinstall it? What will I lose if I do this?

Yes, in order to fix the issue, you will need to uninstall and then reinstall Adobe Photoshop. All your settings will be automatically imported by the application and you will not lose anything. Go to Start > Control Panel > Uninstall a program, select Adobe Photoshop from the list and click Uninstall. After that, click Next, un-chek the Remove Preferences box and check the Deactivate your application option. Click again Next and then Remove. For further information, I suggest you check the official web page.
