Dell webcam central is not working

asked by about Dell Webcam Center

I downloaded Dell Webcam Center, but when I try to use it, it says ''No supported webcam driver detected. Please install the webcam driver using the Dell Resource CD and launch Webcam Center again''
I entered the Dell Resource CD for my dell vista but there are no webcam drivers.
Where can I get the right webcam driver?

I managed to get this to work on an E6400 just now using (Ashesh Dave's link above didn't work, but he identified the right SW - R230103)

SX2210 Monitor Webcam Link: http://www.dell.com/support/drivers/us/en/04/DriverDetails?driverId=N2X8D

I installed the driver first (R189395, for Webcam PN K113P), then the SX2210 Monitor Webcam SW.

The Webcam Central SW (R168730) presented via Dell's driver download page is incorrect.

hello,
I also had the same problem. I downloaded the driver from the dell site and tried every way, but it didn't work. I had an external webcam and plugged it in my laptop and downloaded the driver for it. And when it was installed, my laptop's internal camera started to work! The driver was of "HP Basic Starter Camera". You can download it and I think it will work!

I have a Dell Inspiron with Windows Vista Home Premium 64-BIT, but my webcam central does not work. Since we bought it the webcam always says to "Plug-In a supported device." I have tried to install and re-install multiple times with the disk, but this does not work. it continues to give me the same message. What should I do?

There must be cyber link media suite included with if you format your windows and again installed another windows, try re-installing cyber link media suite.

Just another thing to note: We frequently encounter issues with Dell laptops' internal speakers or USB audio devices not functioning. consists of the Latitude 7x80, 7x90, and 7x00 series. The most recent drivers on SupportAssist/CommandUpdate don't seem to fix it, and it occasionally comes back after restarting. Additionally on Windows 1709.
