Dell webcam central is not working

Question

I downloaded Dell Webcam Center, but when I try to use it, it says ''No supported webcam driver detected. Please install the webcam driver using the Dell Resource CD and launch Webcam Center again''
I entered the Dell Resource CD for my dell vista but there are no webcam drivers.
Where can I get the right webcam driver?

I'm having the same problem. I've tried several times downloading the software and it's still saying: "Please plug in a supported device".
What should I do?

I have an Inspiron 1525. My webcam stopped working yesterday. I have uninstalled and installed both the driver and the software 3 times and it is still not working. Any suggestions?

I really hope someone can help me, I have a dell 1545 inspiron, my hard drive broke and I lost everything so it was taken away and completely re-done, now with 7 ultimate and 64bit, I do not know how to make my web cam work, when I use other cam methods such as msn, its really dark and you can't see anything, I do not have the cam software that was on it when I bought it. Same here with DELL inspiron 1564. Looks like the program is not supported for these versions of DELL laptops.
Note the webcam is working probably with Skype but it is not supported here at all!

I have the same problem with my integrated webcam. After rebooting it does not work.
I am using dell inspiron n5050.

I had the same problem with a Dell Studio 1745. However, I managed to find all of the drivers for all models of laptop. I had to uninstall Webcam Central and then try each driver in turn until I found the correct one. After doing this I downloaded the latest version of Webcam Central and Hey Presto everything worked fine.
