Dell webcam central is not working

Question

I downloaded Dell Webcam Center, but when I try to use it, it says ''No supported webcam driver detected. Please install the webcam driver using the Dell Resource CD and launch Webcam Center again''
I entered the Dell Resource CD for my dell vista but there are no webcam drivers.
Where can I get the right webcam driver?

I just wanted to point out that the majority of answers on this thread so far overlook the distinction between webcam driver and webcam software. Although the original poster describes a problem that more closely appears to be a webcam software issue, many users are recommending an update or reinstallation of the webcam driver. They are in essence following the instructions given by the dysfunctional dell webcam software. Once we all are aware of this, progress can be made.

i think you have to click on the question mark (?) on the upper left corner beside the minimize button..
and click on check software update..
im still working on it though,still downloading the update
..i'll let you know if it worked..

ihave an dell inspiron 1545 and everytime i want to go on my webcam central it just says please plug in an supported webcam i can put an USB stick in to get it to work but after about 5 mins it stops working and resorts back to telling me to please plug in an supported webcam PLEASE HELP

Hi, I'm using Dell Inspiron N4020. I have the same problem too. It says please plug in a supported device when I open my webcam central. And of course I tried to download from www.dell.com.my but it doesn't work. So what should I do now? I need help seriously.
