Although the software was not designed for Windows 8 operating system, you can make it compatible by applying compatibility settings. Right click the setup package and choose Compatibility from the Properties window. Then, right click the file again and use Run as Administrator. It's a simple tweak but if you do it without the Administrator handle, you will receive errors.
