Connectivity between two Android devices is possible with the help of WiFi Direct, but this feature needs to be available on both devices. In other case you can use Bluetooth to exchange files and related content or if you want a different approach, you can install Airdroid on both devices and exchange files through their interface if these devices are connected to the same network via wireless.
