Strongvault removing problems.

I cannot get rid of this Strongvault Backup file, even though I have attempted every suggestion given. I simply cannot get it to completely go away and my systems say that they have no such file. It is now camping out in hidden icons and after I chase after it, the icon hides, but then reappears with a threat that a right hand click will only activate it. I chase it to a point where it says "Quit", but it doesn't. It is right back there in a few minutes. It will not go away, even though I try to make it do so. Guess I will just have to live with it, but how does something appear that doesn't exist according to the all of the check systems?

If you have eliminated any other possibilities, I recommend you to use GMER. It's an anti-rootkit utility which scans processes for additional hidden items. In this case Strongvault will not have any chance as the applications scans the files and services up to Kernel level detecting all the hooks. Please download the application and perform a scan of your computer. If there are any red items detected, please delete them. Also, you should scan the entire content of your hard drive and if you encounter EXE, DLL or any other format related to Strongvault, simply delete it. I assure you it will not ever start again.
