My keyboard is not working

I changed the Windows 7 version of my Acer Aspire One D270 to Windows 7 Ultimate and now all the keyboards on my right hand side are not working.

I have to press or hold Fn before any of the keyboards will respond. But if I should hibernate the laptop, all the keyboards will start working, and the volume stops working. I can't listen to music or watch any movie because there is no volume.

Some laptops use Fn button as a trigger to enable or disable certain functions that are assigned to various button on your keyboard. This is also a case where you need to press Fn along another special button which is usually found on F1 through F12 that will enable or disable special actions for a certain button. Please try to manually switch functions until your keyboard is restored.
