I have a Canon MG3100 printer and its scanner is no longer working. What should I do?

I asked this question awhile ago and from reading your other posts regarding other hardware I was astounded that all it took to get my scanner working was simply to unplug the printer, uninstall the printer and all drivers related, turn printer back on and it reinstalls itself.  That simple.  I got this all from reading your page so I just answered my own question.  It worked.  The scanner is now working.  I could not thank you enough. In order to fix the issue, you will need to reinstall the drivers from the printer CD received when you purchased the product. If you no longer have the CD, you can download and install the drivers from the official web page. Click the red Download Now button, save the file to your computer and install it following the provided instructions.
