How do I install software from a CD when my new iMac has no CD drive?

The lack of the CD/DVD drives is due to the fact that they were releasing too much which caused many iMacs to fail. I believe that you will need to use an external CD/DVD-Rom to install your software or simply download it from the Internet if it's available. In either case, there is nothing to be done regarding this case.
