Once plugged in, the modem will install its supported software from the stick because it has additional storage. You can also use My Computer to browse the contents of the modem stick. The software is known to work with all Windows versions, including Vista and if it works in Vista, it will surely work in Windows 7. Just make sure that when you install it, choose Run as Administrator option by right clicking the setup package.
